The Langley Concert Band is happy to continue its long tradition of creating music together in the community. Welcome to the 2024/2025 Season.

The membership is diverse in age, experience, and background and is a very welcoming group! There is no audition, but a minimum of one year's playing experience is required. Weekly rehearsals are throughout the year September through June on Monday nights from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at The Langley Fine Arts School 9096 Trattle Street, Langley BC.

We are currently seeking new members! Whether you have played for years or for limited period of time we would love to see you. Please email thelangleyconcertband@gmail.com for more information and to ensure the director has music prepared for you.
Besides performing at public concerts, Langley Concert Band has performed at numerous community functions and festivals including Ladner Bandfest, Music Under the "K", Kiwanis Festival, Langley Canada Day and May Day celebrations, Langley Day of Pos-Abilities, and has done an exchange with the Nicola Valley Community Band.

Our History
The Band began as an adult beginning group in 2003, when members of a local choir were interested in also learning to play instruments. Some people had played in high school but hadn't played in twenty, thirty or even forty years. Others, many of whom were in their fifties and sixties, were picking up instruments for the first time. The band has evolved over the years, but one thing has remained constant . . . the love of playing music.Besides performing at public concerts, Langley Concert Band has performed at numerous community functions and festivals including Ladner Bandfest, Music Under the "K", Kiwanis Festival, Langley Canada Day and May Day celebrations, Langley Day of Pos-Abilities, and has done an exchange with the Nicola Valley Community Band.
